Swinstead D-Day Beacon Lighting, Thursday 6 June, 9.15pm to commemorate the 80th anniversary the Normandy Landings.
This commemorative event will allow the community to come together to pay respect to those who died during the Normandy Landings and remember the sacrifices of those who took part in the operation.
Beacon will be lit at 9.15pm, on the Village Green on Bourne Road. Feel free to join in on this special event and invite your family and friends. Afterwards raise a glass in the Village Hall Bar afterwards.
