Corby Glen Sheep Fair – 3rd, 4th and 5th October 2025

It’s hard to pick out particular events as the Sheep Fair Team have packed a lot in, but some of the entertainment includes: great live music from Friday night right through to Sunday afternoon, a beer festival and loads of food and stalls, a fun run is being planned, birds of prey, 5-a-side football, Morris dancers… Bake off and other fun competitions…

The fair will be in town, our amazing school’s choir and the Dance Academy will wow us all (as always), performing on the main stage, and don’t forget the art exhibition at Willoughby Gallery. More live music and continued support and events coinciding with the weekend are in The Fighting Cocks under the new owners (who are very involved) – a big thank you!

To support sustainability, and please walk to the event and ditching the car where you can. Look to share cars where possible… and purchase the Sheep Fair reusable cups at the “Barrrr” on Saturday and in The Fighting Cocks over the weekend… Keep them filled and then take them home as a souvenir! We have card machines for our outside bar on Saturday but remember that not all stalls have card machines, so bring some cash with you to enjoy the weekend!

If you need help over the weekend, look out for the Sheep Fair Marshals in their usual outfits.

At the Agricultural & Family Day on Saturday, there will be farmers’ market stalls, food offerings, classic tractors, competitions and a bar. We are excited to add our NEW competition, the Great Corby Glen BAKE OFF to our Saturday event with both adult and kids entries. Don’t miss out on showing off your creative skills, our judges can’t wait to start tasting and be awed! All entries should be displayed by 12.00 in the marquee, Saturday 4th October. Judging will take place at 1pm.

On Sunday, the day starts at St John’s Church with Sheep Fair Prayers at 9am, followed by tours of the church and a treasure-hunt quiz throughout the day. Enjoy refreshments at the Church Street Rooms and elsewhere, and exploring the record numbers of stall holders as well as the classic cars we all love to see.

The sporting challenge in memory of Bailey Drew will be open to all this year – so set up your own teams of 5 for the 5-a-side football aged 16 and over.

The legendary food challenge will have a new theme this year as we ran out of chillies, sausage eaters ran off screaming and nasty food was not nasty enough… It’s an interesting one coming…not to be missed…

This year we are welcoming back the very popular Dog show!

Thank you to all our stall holders, sponsors and raffle prize donors; you make a massive difference to our funding and making it a great day. We have some of the best prizes ever this year.

The Sheep Fair Committee wish you all an amazing weekend!
