It has now been confirmed that Corby Glen’s Neighbourhood Plan will be put to a referendum on Thursday, January 18th 2024. All residents of voting age will be receiving information from SKDC about the voting arrangements.
The Neighbourhood Plan, together with supplementary documents, can be viewed on the Corby Glen village website organised by the Parish Council (https://corbyglen.com) and on SKDC’s website (https://www.southkesteven.gov.uk).
Hard copies of the Plan are available in the Lavender Hut, Hattie’s Tea Rooms, Willoughby Gallery Library, and Church Street Rooms.
Additionally, there will be two public meetings to explain the content of the Neighbourhood Plan. The first meeting will be on Friday, January 12th at 7.00pm and a repeat event will be held on Saturday, January 13th at 2.00 pm. Both meetings will be held in Church Street Rooms. Following a short presentation on the Plan, there will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.
The Friday meeting will be attended by the planning consultant who helped prepare our Plan.
We are grateful to the many residents who have helped us produce the Neighbourhood Plan by providing their opinions and ideas for the village.
The referendum will give our community the final say on whether the Plan is approved.
Anyone who wants to learn more about the content of the Plan before they vote is encouraged to attend one of the public meetings.
Above all, please remember to cast your vote on Thursday 18 January!
