A major exhibition Ancient Stories: Paintings and Sculpture by Grantham-based artist Szilvia Ponyiczki opens at the Willoughby Gallery, Corby Glen, on Wednesday 8th October and runs until Wednesday 29th October (with an additional viewing day on Sheep Fair Sunday, 5th October).
The works in Ancient Stories explore themes of creation, transformation, and the unknown, capturing echoes of ancient wisdom. Through fragments of creation myths, archetypal forms, and symbolic patterns inspired by ancient art, they invite viewers on a journey to hidden realms where mystery and timelessness converge.

Szilvia has exhibited her work in solo and group shows across the UK and internationally. Her artistic journey has been a deep exploration of the collective unconscious, a realm that connects the individual’s psyche to the shared symbolism of our ancestors.
