You are warmly invited to visit the Church Street Rooms for our Open House on Saturday 27 April between 10 am and 3 pm.
We are running this event to promote the use of the Church Street Rooms as a great community venue, and to raise awareness of the various community activities that are available within our village.
The drop-in event is very much intended for everyone, but we would like to extend an especially warm welcome to newcomers to Corby Glen. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served throughout the day, free of charge.
Visitors calling in at the Church Street Rooms will be able to:
- see first hand the available facilities
- learn about the wide range of community activities on offer in our village
- find out about local support groups, such as for Parkinson’s
As part of the day there will be an open meeting of the Corby Glen Community Group, starting at 11am. We want ideas on various topics including:
- Celebrations for VE Day, 6 June 2024
- Section 106 funding (money from the housing developments)
- Community fund raising
- Further village events for 2024
This is a great opportunity to learn more about what is going on in your village – do come if you can!
