Surprise Minor: Visiting bellringers at Corby Glen Church

On Friday 5th September, a crack team of bellringers visited St John’s Church, Corby Glen, to perform a full peal on the six tower bells.

For 2 hours 49 minutes the glorious sound of the Surprise Minor peal played by expert bellringers rang out over the village. Variations played were: 1 London, Wells; 2 Carlisle; 3 Westminster, Allendale; 4 Beverley, Surfleet; 5 Bourne; 6 Norwich; 7 Cambridge.
